I've chosen the full price device on Verizon pre-order and there is no option for unlimited although I already have it?
 
F YOU VERIZON!

I had to select a tiered data plan while using alternate upgrades. They lied, but that's what verizon does.
 
I'm not using an upgrade, I'm paying full price.

No unlimited option, ought to be a glitch, which means I'm not going to be in the first shipment group.

Additionally, the rep on the phone yesterday said I could input my own shipping/billing stuff. Nope, defaults to the account holder and wouldn't let me change it! :(

Such bullcrap.

You're not required to switch to a Share Everything Plan, but if you do, you won't be able to keep your unlimited data package. When you upgrade, you can choose from a voice plan with a standalone data package or a Share Everything Plan. If you want to keep unlimited data, you have the option to pay full retail price for a new phone.
 
yeah, i noticed that, too. pre-order from apple's site. it'll let you order a new phone keeping unlimited data.
 
No big deal, my second line is a dumb phone. I had to selected a tiered data but it will just be cancelled once I switch the phone to my line.

i'm hoping apple.com is different..
 
Use the Apple Store app on your phone, that didn't make me select any data plan and showed me my plan with Unlimited.
 
I just finished pre-ordering maybe 10 minutes ago. First I tried to put my phone number down for the upgrade eligibility (even though I wanted to pay full price) and then I found out that there wasn't an option for me to just pay full price because my upgrade was available and they were forcing me to use the upgrade, which I did not want. So I used my mom's number (who can't upgrade until next year) and paid full price that way (I distinctly remember the $29.99 unlimited data being listed on the order page after I was done). I hope I can still activate with my number next Friday -- we shall see.

Doesnt show me i can keep my unlimited on the app either, it only shows subsidized pricing
 
I just preordered via Verizon and kept unlimited data... If you don't choose any of the other plans and just click continue, you keep it
 
Screw it, I just selected the 2gb option and checked out.

I am paying full price, so I can keep my unlimited data. Will talk to verizon later today then

Attached is my confirmation/receipt. It let me keep unlimited when I bought full retail.

I got the same message, so I just selected the 2gb option and checked out.

Im paying full price so i should be able to keep my unlimited. Will call verizon later today and make sure this is correct
