I bought the iPhone 4S on launch day on Verizon hence my upgrade eligibility isn't in effect for some time. ATT used to offer me early upgrades or at least discounted upgrades.

Anyone know if Verizon is planning on doing the same?

Thanks.

What is there motivation to give you another $400 subsidy early? They have none. It sure isn't going to be costumer satisfaction. Your in contract so to get out your going to be paying a big ETF. Everyone is going to change to the new plans if they want a subsidized phone ever again so it isn't that. There is no motivation for them to do so, so they aren't. Their job is to make profits, subsidizing the most expensive phone they sell early isn't going to do that.

AT&T did it for me every year.

Holy crapola! Please do at least A LITTLE searching around before posting. This has literally been beaten to death on these forums as of late. LITERALLY. :p
