I returned my wifi only model today, because I wanted a LTE one, but debating on which carrier would be better for my home area. I'm leaning towards Verizon for the hotspot feature, but if AT&T has faster speeds I will go for that. Seen in some threads though that it varies for each.

Is there any side by side speedtest of each carrier for the North Jersey area?

I'm in North Jersey there's no AT&T LTE up here. In Manhattan the AT&T LTE speed's are sick, unbelievably fast.

I'm not sure about Verizon.

I got 38 Mbps down and 17 Mbps up in Manhattan when I was up there last week on my Verizon iPad.
