Verizon order question (phone number)

I placed my order last night for the Apple Watch Series 3 Nike (Cellular) from Verizon.

I swear during the order process I selected to link it to my phone number. However, when I go to my order page now, I see a different phone number listed (along with the model name, etc.) that is not associated with any of my accounts.

Has anyone seen something similar? I'm wondering if there was an issue in the order process..hope I don't have to cancel/re-order.

The device still gets it own phone number, but it will be linked to your number on the back end via NumberShare

Interesting, could this number be used? How would you find it? I don’t have my S3 yet, won’t have it for several weeks but your post has me curious.

I don't think it can really be used. Its just like the cellular iPads. They have their own number as well. The number will be on your account and show up as a second device on your bill
