Carrier Verizon Pre-Order Question

Very excited to upgrade again this year..

What are some of the annual Verizon pre order issues/things to avoid?

My billing and shipping address will be diff this year, is that an issue?

I have heard MANY stories of people having issues with trying to use a different billing and shipping address. They have cracked down on this a TON to avoid shipping fraudulent phones.

I lucked out 4 years ago and grabbed my phone from the truck while I was at the office - it was the same driver that goes to my home so he just pulled it early for me so I didn't miss delivery.

I’m in a similar situation and was wondering what ended up occurring. The billing address for my Verizon account is different than the place I live, so I’d like to ship it to this address. I know when I was on AT&T I wasn’t able to ship somewhere that wasn’t my billing address, but I was wondering if this was the case with Verizon. Were you able to get your device shipped to a different address than your billing address?

I have this same question. I need to preorder two iPhone 12 Pro Maxes. One going to the billing, another going to a different state. Frustrating that there’s no info about this out there.

I guess we’ll see when pre-orders go live tomorrow morning. I was able to set the shipping address as something different than the billing address on my upgrade program pre-approval, but who knows if it will let me keep it when I order the phone
