Carrier Verizon prepaid 5G

I am on prepaid Verizon and we should be getting nationwide 5G (not ultrawideband). I’m in a coverage area and 5G is enabled but I don’t have it on my status bar and I’ve set the phone to always 5G. Does anyone else have Verizon prepaid and iPhone 12 yet?
