Via in-store promotion Walmart is currently including an extra 2gb per month on top of the regular $50/5gb and $70/10gb Verizon prepaid plans. Verizon itself also offers prepaid users an extra 1gb per month if they sign up for autopay which, combined with Walmarts offer, would work out to the following:
  • $50/month
  • 8gb of data
  • Unlimited talk & text
  • Unlimited 128kbps after 8gb
  • Monthly data rollover
  • Free tethering
  • VoLTE calling
  • WiFi calling
In addition to the lower cost plan above that I'm most interested in, theres also one for more data hungry users:
  • $70/month
  • 13gb of data
  • Unlimited talk & text
  • Unlimited 128kbps after 13gb
  • Monthly data rollover
  • Free tethering
  • VoLTE calling
  • WiFi calling
I had planned on signing up for AT&T GoPhone's $40/mo 4gb + unlim talk & text plan... but now I'm wondering if the $10 more per month is worth it to get the Verizon network, double my data, plus VoLTE and WiFi calling (which aren't offered on GoPhone) instead?

If anyone already has one of Verizons prepaid plans or has thoughts to give I'd love to hear them :)
