All iPads Verizon Recycling Program fo iPad

I recently purchased an iPad Air 2 from Verizon and I used their Device Recycling Program to trade-in my iPad 3. I already received the Air 2 as well as the paid envelope to mail in my iPad 3. I was quoted $130 for my device. On a whim, I tried getting a quote online from Best Buy and they offered an estimated value of $185.

My question is....am I obliged to go with Verizon or I can go with others?

Did Verizon give you a discount or any money for your your old iPad yet? if not that I can't believe you are obligated to go with verizon. You may have to return the envelope to a store or something.
