Preordered my iPhone 6 Plus Space Gray 128gb on Verizon. Got in the site at 2:57am, Had my confirmation by 3:02am. Estimated ship date 9/19. Got an email on Monday, order was canceled, then due to high demand phone will not ship until 11/4. Spend two hours on the phone with them today. They are showing 0 stock in their system until October. I had her call a store to try and reserve me a phone due to their screwup, and two stores both said that they will not be getting any six pluses until the middle of October.


I hate Verizon.

Then leave them if you hate them. If you don't want to, then make a trip to the apple store. Not much you can do now.

Only provider with acceptable service in my area. They are my comcast. They may in fact be more incompetent.
 
Reps are extremely unreliable. Go look in the VZW preorder thread, plenty of people have tracking numbers soooo yeah

No one that pre-orderd a 128GB space grey 6+ has a tracking number yet, including myself.

Now there have been other combinations of colors and GBs that have gotten shipping notifications/numbers, but no 128GB SG 6+.
 
I think you're skipping over the bigger issue here. Why was your order cancelled?

It's not that Verizon doesn't have stock or that they're evil. If your order was cancelled, you have to get to the back of the line again, which sucks, but it makes total sense.

So why was your order cancelled? Credit card issue, mistake on Verizon's part?

Your title makes it sound like it applies to all Verizon orders, which is completely misleading and probably purposely incendiary.

His thread title says no iPhone 6+ equal ship till October. His thread title is misleading. I'm thinking they are processing the grey ones last.
 
Well that's just completely inaccurate. Tons of people have tracking numbers for 6 pluses. They may not have them in the stores til then, but they're definitely shipping direct now.
 
Not true. My 64GB SG is on it's way to me. In Newark, NJ right now as a matter of fact.

All order info was fine. I had her look at the order and she said there was no discernible reason why it got cancelled.

The rep told me that no iPhone 6 pluses would be available til mid October. Word for word. I'm not saying what she said is the truth. All I'm saying is that's what I was told. Due to them screwing me over, I had her call two local stores to see if they could reserve me one from their launch day stock to pick up. They both replied no six pluses til mid October.

No one has gotten any info yet. If they weren't going to have any at all on launch day, they wouldn't have given a 9/19 delivery date. I know that when I got on a 3:05, they delivery date for the 16gb pluses had already slipped to October. I think they're just getting to the 128s last. There's still a couple days for them to process the orders.
 
I wonder if the rep meant Verizon stores wouldn't get any til then? That's more likely. I remember when the 5s came out, Verizon stores around here just didn't get any stock for a very long time.

oh believe me I hope you're right lol I'm holding off as long as I can, but I'm getting antsy waiting for some kind of update to my status, credit card charge, anything really. It looks as if it's just sitting in limbo right now.
