Just got off a lengthy phone call with Verizon. The rep told me that they got an alert as to the shipping of the iPhones. According to the alert, Customers have been getting notifications that their regular iPhone 6 has been shipped already. The alert also states that the soonest the iPhone 6 Plus will ship is 9/18. The rep didn't sound any smarter than the average Verizon rep, but once she read the Alert to me, it sounded legit enough for me to pass the information on. This is also the first time I heard that I would be getting the iPhone 6 Plus on 9/19 and not have it ship on 9/19 like the status was telling me right after I placed my order (I like everyone else, it now says "Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time.")

Obviously I have no screen shot as this was a phone call, but I am reporting exactly what I was told, so we all need to take this with a grain of salt. The fact that the alert mentioned regular iPhones shipping now -- iPhone Plus shipping 9/18, seems believable to me since obviously we all know that half of the alert is correct we have seen people post screen shots that their regular version has been shipped.

Also they said the credit card will not be charged until it ships. So if its shipping 9/18 that's when we should expect to see a charge. Again we all know that there is a chance the rep doesn't know what they are talking about, but I figured I'd post the information because personally I feel comfortable that they weren't just reading a script, the "Alert" seemed legit.
