iPhone 15 Pro Verizon return question

Hello. I have two questions. I received an iPhone 15 Pro, opened it but haven’t activated it yet and I bought AppleCare. Can I order a PM now for my line and then bring the Pro later within the 30 days? Also how do I get the AppleCare for the first phone refunded?
 
Verizon is the only one who can give you appropriate answers than non Verizon employees. I suggest you contact them. Wish you the best!
