Verizon tethering question.

Considering that Verizon doesn't allow data and talking on the phone simultaneouly, can you tether and talk on the phone at the same time? If you have tethering enabled and a call comes in, do you lose your tethering connection?

No, you cannot tether or use any data while talking on the phone with CDMA phones on verizon.
If a call comes in the data stops and always gives priority to the call.
If you're downloading something on your laptop the download will fail and you will have to start all over again when the call ends.
And hope noone interupts you by calling or texting if you're downloading something important.
