Verizon Upgrade Date Different from Apple.com Upgrade Date

Apple.com says I can upgrade on 10/9 but VZW says 10/11 I wonder if I can upgrade on 10/9 from the apple store, any one experience this?

I am looking for the same answer and Verizon chat online couldn't even give me the answer.
