Just incase you guys were wondering the new (old) iphone 4 verizon version does not have any FCC writing on the back it just says iphone. It looks clean. Just putting it out there if anyone cares.. prolly not..lol:D

I saw it on pictures from reviews last week....I wonder why they did it, I thought there was some kind of law that electronics had to display those symbols somewhere on the device...otherwise why include them in the first place?

All that mumbo jumbo stuff on the back of the AT&T iPhone is for International folks.

I think those symbols cover different regulatory bodies from several areas. It includes the FCC symbol for example....why would they need to display the FCC symbol when presumably it covers US only?

I'm guessing that the units sent to reviewers are meant to be returned to Apple and are production samples that haven't been FCC certified or at the time they were produced, couldn't legally bare the technical information on the back of those covers certifying them with the FCC and other regulators.
