Verizon vs att question!

so i have being browsing around the web and have seing a couple of review against the verizon phone which is cdma network they say it dosent work world wide and the att does because you can buy local sims but my question is how? if its frigging locked to att and you cant use another sims

you would have to unlock it before using sim cards in a different country. yea the at&t iphone can be used globally without an unlock, but you will get charged an absurd amount for roaming. i personally dont travel out of the country so i am perfectly content with my verizon iphone. if i were to go out of the country i would just buy some cheap pay as you go phone in whatever country i was in
