Did anyone do this?

Recently I discovered Verizon's Friends & Family plan (I know, I was behind the curve). In this plan, in addition to the fellow Verizon customers that you can call anytime for free, you choose 10 other non-Verizon numbers that you can call anytime, with unlimited minutes.

This took away a large reason we got the Verizon Family Plan, so we could call each other, anytime, without watching minutes. So, I was able to switch to an iPhone, I added MY number (old Verizon number which is now AT&T) to the Verizon Friends & Family plan, and anyone still on that Family plan can now call me whenever they want without them worrying about thier minutes.

I need to be careful for a while until my rollover minutes start adding up, which I'm sure they will.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Hahaha, Yes actually. My girlfriend switched from verizon to the iphone, but her mom still calls just as often because of that feature
