It is horrible... Who can help?
My iPhone 4S has been with (i think) iOS version 6 - just something old. I wanted to update it as there have been more and more outdated Apps with update-issues due to the old iOS.
OK, but my two Macs have OS 10.8.2 "only". (with iTunes 11.1.3)
So I asked iTunes to update the iPhone (after the backup of all data certainly). I Tunes has done its job quite well, except the fact, that it announced that it can not handle this updated iPhone anymore. I should upgrade iTunes to Version 12 or something like this. But this is part of a complete OS X update (as far as I understand the OS S App Store). So I needed to upgrade the complete OS X and with it certainly Parallels, right? (I have version 8)
With this I might have to upgrade some programs within the Windows installation?
Anyway... I have very limited access to the internet and some very important and critical programs running on my Mac. I do not want to do all these upgrades!!!!!!!
So what can I do? Recover the iPhone to the old version and keep everything as it has been, certainly!
B U T:
My iTunes can not anymore talk to my updated IPhone and with this it can not recover the old iOS version!!!!!
Who can help with this mess?
One idea would be a recovery via iCloud. But can I get the exisiting backup data from my Mac (created by iTunes) into iCloud.
There has to be a solution, right?
