Don't step into the kawoosh...
I remember reading a while ago about this app and hoping it would make an apperence sometime this decade.

Well, i just got an e-mail that it has been released.

People wanting to check it out can go to versionsapp.com. I am just now installing it and will see how well it works.

Oooo - thanks for the heads up! Downloading now.

I seriously hope I'm missing something obvious here, but...how do you actually download it? There's the download button in the upper right corner that displays a message saying "Versions is downloading, you’ll find it in your downloads folder.", but nothing ever appears in the downloads folder at all, nor does a traditional download window appear.

What am I missing?

OP: Do you have a repository setup for subversion on your Mac?

As of right now no.

I just finished with spring classes and exam at OSU so have not had a lot of time to mess with this. I am planning to start coding a couple of apps I have an idea for and this should come in handy. We shall see how it works.

It will probably be another week (getting everything for school put away and started at the full time job) before i get a real chance to mess with this and see how it will work for my projects i am planning.

Please do come back and update us. I saw the news about the new subversion client, and I am looking at getting some SCM setup on my system. Was thinking of Perforce, but I haven't had a chance to download or install anything yet.

I will try to remember... promise!!

I did set up a free repository they offer through Beanstalk but have not had a chance to test that out either. Like i said, very busy right now, so have only barley scratched the surface.

Only problem with a free repo, is that it is someone else's. :D
