Just installed my 60gb Vertex 2E after reading lots of rave reviews on here and other sites. I'm using Aja system test and getting Writes of 160mb and Reads of 230mb.
Is this normal? I was getting 30mb / 30mb with the stock 5400 hard drive before. It's a Mid 2009 15" MBP with 2.6ghz C2D 4gb ram and 256mb 9600m.
Any help / advice or numbers from anyone with a vertex 2 would help me out, just want to know if this is normal as I was expecting higher. The reasons behind this are because resolume (software I use for live graphics performance) isn't giving me the increases in performance I thought it would...
Should I test it with other benchmarking software?
