Vertex 3 & MBP 2011 owners, how did you update the firmware?

I want to update the firmware on my Vertex 3 but I see so many ways I'm lost.

Any suggestions?

I hooked mine up to one of my office pc's w/ Intel AHCI driver & XP Pro. However what works for me may not work for you. OCZ should make the process more simplified and less restrictive.

OP what version firmware are you currently on?

Updating the firmware can be done with OCZ Toolbox 2.35. Not 2.37.

They're up to 2.09 now. But if your drive works fine I wouldn't update.

OP what version firmware are you currently on?

Took out the drive and stuck it into my PC with a built-in external hard drive dock. Took about 10 minutes tops.
