Vertical dock?

Hi!

I'm curious if anything exists that will change the dock from horizontal to vertical?

It would be nice to have the dock vertically on The right or left side of the screen.

What does everyone think?

Why would you want the dock on the dimension of the screen that's the smallest? IOW, a vertical dock would take up a larger percentage of the width of the screen versus at the bottom. I imagine, that's why Apple put it there.

Sorry, I thought you were asking about changing the dock on a Mac. I didn't realize I was posting in the iPhone subforum
Anyways, as for now there is no option to change the position of the dock.

something that has exactly what you're looking for was just released in Cydia a few days ago. It's simply called "Dock", and it costs $2.99 (I believe, can't exactly remember), but offers a 3-day full trial to test it out and see if it's to your liking. It's very clean, and pretty cool. Check it out
