Hello,

A few weeks back I started having problems with my iPhone6Plus.

Basically, when using it, it will freeze or become unresponsive. If I use the “Home” button - I can jog it out of this weird glitch.

Also, I sometimes get lines on half the screen, and if I press lightly, I can get rid of them.

Now, from my research: it might be a “soldier ball” thing and something has come unaligned. Basically, it might’ve got bent in my pocket or something.

I also have some suspicions that it might be my new iPhone charger/cables I got my Amazon. I noticed every time I charge and unplug - the battery percentage switches off and lines on the screen return. (They also don't charge properly, so, I probably should've got the original charger cable.)

Anyways, does anyone have any idea on what I should do? I keep thinking perhaps its just old but I dunno.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Touch Disease.
Sadly will only get worse. There used to be a bunch of third party repair places (mentioned in the article) that did fast fixes for it, i'm not sure if the service will still be offered eight years after it was revealed as a massive problem however.

I’ve got an old iPhone 6 Plus I used up to a few years ago. iOS updates truly ruined that phone.
If you want to save some money by not buying the latest iPhone, a refurbished iPhone 6S plus is available from BackMarket and it’s such a superior iPhone to the 6 plus. I got mine for $135.
