Vertical lines problem

Hi everyone.
Is there any way to fix this problem of my imac screen (20 inch core 2 duo 2007) ,for example cleaning the lcd panel glass?

In my experience, vertical lines aren't usually caused by a dirty LCD. More often, they're due to a loose connector or an overheating GPU (video card). The best way to find out is to connect an external monitor and see if the lines appear on that monitor as well. If so, then the issue is with the GPU. Otherwise, it's narrowed down to an LCD issue. Loose connectors generally cause the LCD to flicker on and off, so I'm guessing your LCD is probably bad.
