My June 08 MBP is starting to suffer from the vertical stripping problem that many others have reported and discussed here. Since I had to return 3 MBPs right out of the box because of faulty graphics issues, I thought I would just live with occasional striping which has been there since the second week. But now I am getting the stripes 10 times a day and it's getting in the way of me using the computer.
Did apple ever acknowledge this widespread problem?
Does anyone know for sure what causes the problem?
Do recent OS updates solve the problem?
If i have to send my computer in for repair - what will apple most likely do? Will the screen be replaced?
