Get ready for headlines in the papers "New iPhone 4 cannot even stand up to gun fire. Apple MUST issue total recall" :p

TBH I think it stands up pretty well. Based on the fact it does not blow up on impact ha ha.

What?! It can't stand up to a .50 Cal Sniper Rifle? Way to drop the ball on that one Apple...

This is total bs! I mean, my 3G generally gets shot by a .50 cal round at least - what? - five, six times a day, and I still have yet to see a scratch on it after a year and a half.

Stronger glass, my a**! This product is without a doubt defective and Apple needs to address this issue immediately.

Remind me to leave my iPhone at home on my next trip to Fallujah

Can anyone confirm that a bumper would fix this?

Wow, seriously guys, my HTC Evo would have swallowed the bullet and **** out candy canes. Apple blows.

This thread is so much better than all the IP4 shrinking bars stuff out there. This is the truly important issue.

Cheers,

Omfg. I'm so ****ing pissed. Really... Apple can't make a good enough quality product to at least withstand everyday use. How the **** can I use my iPhone 4 now... this could happen at any time... and because of Apple's horrible engineering my iPhone's just going to break and stop working. WTF apple!

No No No No!

I can't believe how you guys think it is not important! I mean this issue affects everyone! I don't care if you say it doesn't!

I mean... the real question is ...

does it blend?

I'm surprised the iPhone held together as well as it did. I guess the bullet was going too fast to obliterate the iPhone.

But I guess this also means that the iPhone 4 won't stop a bullet meant for you. :)
