How do you delete apps so they are permanently off of your device? My problem is that I have a new iPad and when I synced it, a bunch of apps that I downloaded a long time ago on my old device show up on my new one. They are mostly like free games I tried out and didn't like. When I deleted them from the device and then re-synced it, they showed up again. I finally figured out I have to remove them from iTunes (which I find very annoying).
Now I'm having a problem where apps that I have deleted are showing up under my "updates" section of the App Store. I am one of those people that always has to go through and update everything when there is a little number at the corner of that app. I can't get the unused apps to disappear from the App Store, and if I update them then they redownload to my device. What do?
