Very annoying bug on iPad w/ Smart Keyboard

On my iPad Pro there is a bug on the Quick Reply.

When typing a message, if using the arrow keys to move the text cursor, the entire page jumps down to the bottom with every keystroke, requiring one to scroll back up to the Quick Reply box.

This has annoyed me for ages - I wonder if it would be easily fixed?

It is a bug in the XenForo forum software unfortunately, so there's nothing we can do directly to fix it.

The good news is that it is fixed in XenForo 2.0, which is currently in beta. It looks like a public release is coming soon, but it will then take some time for us to test and make sure all of our plugins and customizations work with 2.0 before we can upgrade. Hopefully that won't take too long.
