People do strange things when they are scorned.

When we deployed overseas, one fellow gave his wife full power of attorney -- which you should never do. Well he had been screwing around on his wife and she decided that it was a good time to get back at him.

When we came back:

• Kids, pets, furniture gone.
• All bank accounts emptied.
• Cars sold for cash.
• Credit cards maxed out.
• Credit run up at local furniture, electronic and other stores.
• Rental house emptied. When I say emptied, I mean emptied. Blinds, drapes, and even the ice cube trays in the fridge.
• Exception. Divorce papers on the living room floor.

Needless to say, he was not a happy camper. Definitely not a good situation.
