HI

Just got a new Macbook Pro (15" 2.2)

Upon first loading it came up like this with a black menu bar with white writing.

I tried restarting iTunes and the entire computer to no avail.

Here's a screenshot of what I mean http://twitpic.com/4hup6l/full (Sorry it's a twitpic but it was quickest for me)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thankyou so much
Alexander

Try re-installing iTunes. Just download the installed off the Apple website and run the installer.

Try this:
  1. Quit iTunes
  2. Launch Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal)
  3. Type, or copy-paste, the following command and press Return
    Code:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes high-contrast-mode-enable -bool FALSE
  4. Relaunch iTunes

THANKYOU!
Why would that have been set on by default do you think?
How odd!
Thankyou again
