Well I received my refurbished Unibody 2GHz MacBook yesterday and cannot believe how nice of a machine it is. When this design first came out I went to the Apple Store to check them out and while I liked them, I didn't feel the need to replace my perfectly fine refurb 2GHz plastic MacBook. However over the past few months that laptop had started cracking badly to the point that it was bothering me. I called Apple and they replaced the top case, but it still didn't look good because the bottom was cracked too. So I ended up putting it on craigslist and sold it to a guy who owned quite a few Macs.
This new MacBook is stunning, and it feels like I bought a premium product. The casing feels rock solid and makes for an extremely elegant laptop, and the quality feeling I get is matched by no other. The screen is stunning! I couldn't believe how much brighter it is than my old MacBook. The trackpad has taken me some getting used to, but I really love the new Multi-Touch features. The best part is that I only paid $50 than I did for my old MacBook, and I ended up with a larger HD, SuperDrive, better screen, graphics, and a design that is much more elegant. Apple really did an amazing job with these laptops!
