Very low volume on 6S

So I have my 6 and 6S sitting here, for whatever reason the 6S is MUCH lower volume wise. Yes I turned it up to max but its still lower and really makes me wonder if there is a speaker issue.

When I sent a text and you get that small blurp letting you know it sent there is SOME crackle..

This happened to my 6 when I first got it. Talked to an Apple rep online and they said to do a "reset all content and settings" or whatever. For whatever reason, that solved the issue. Have you tried that?
 
I feel like my new 6s has an overall warmer sound, and it's actually distorting / crackling at mid-low frequencies.
 
My 6s plus seems lower than my 6. It's not too terrible though. I didn't notice a crackle.

did you take the plastic screen cling off? i'm not being a smartass.. i did that once, lol
 
Phones can vary with the loudness as well as the screen temperature. At the Apple Store today I noticed a huge difference in screens between iPhone 6S Plus phones....some were very warm (almost too yellowish) and some were really cool (blue). The brightness also varied with some being super vibrant while others looked washed out.

Audio on my first 6 Plus was low but my replacement is VERY loud.

Yes plastic film was removed. Disappointed. Thinking of heading up to Akron to check out a 6S Plus tomorrow.

my 6s plus has the crackle/buzz/vibrate with ear piece on phone call...you have that or on the speaker phone?
 
Decided to spend the extra $100 and jump to a S Plus. No low volume issue however random buzzes on the ear piece

so you swapped too a different phone? and none of the issues we were having? i have an express odreplacement on its way...hoping its all good
