This is a weird issue that I'm not entirly sure how to describe.
In iTunes, deleted playlists will reappear - no songs in the list, just the list title. In Safari, deleted bookmarks will reappear. I use MT-Newswatcher for newsgroups. After reading and/or marking posts as read, they'll reappear as unread.
No deleted files or documents reappear. And I can't say I notice anything else.
I notice this after turning my iMac on in the morning. It doesn't happen every day and it doesn't happen while I'm using the machine - only after I boot up. It seems like it happens once a week or so, and it pulls back everything from the past week. It's only been happening for around 3-4 weeks.
I have a 20" flat panel iMac G4 (March 2004)
1.25 GHz
512 MB Memory
OSX 10.4.2
