I have a very odd problem I am hoping you may be able to shed some light on.
I have a fairly new iPhone 4S (white 32gb) factory unlocked (no hacks or jailbreaks etc).
Anyway, I have a problem with the volume .....
But not in the sense of too loud or too quite, but simply that the phone (no cover or headphones installed) likes to keep reducing my phones volume by itself (to zero).
I can use the buttons to turn the volume up again, but it often just goes down (all by itself) without any reason.? Almost like there is a ghost in the system.
I have checked the side buttons and they both are in full working order, and appear all fully working and nothing stuck etc.
I have tried all the usual stuff like :
Restoring the phones OS.
Removing the bumper case to see if that caused it
Removed the headphones (just in case they were faulty)
But I can sit with the phone in my hand and quite often see it automatically turn the volume down by itself (even if nothing is being used). I have tried pushing the case on the phone and it does seem to sometimes spark it off .... but I just cant figure it out.
Anyone read anything similar to this?
