Very odd problem loading Windows 7 on my MBP

Hi folks.

Burned a DVD with windows 7 on it, when I boot from it to install it, I get to a DOS screen, and I have this:
"1.
2.
Choose boot option (or something along that line) _"

And it's waiting for me to type something. Anything I type, nothing shows up - it does not recognise the keyboard. No idea what to do.

I went and installed old XP instead ;(, (which went fine).

I've seen this before, and in fact encountered it again when I too tried to install the Win7 beta.
