This morning when I tuned on my Mac Mini there was a long page that appeared full of odd symbols (bookmark88ÏË’#·”}úA—ÙÁ) with a heading on top of the page that reads Quicktime Player.app alias - Locked

Does anyone know what this might be? Should I just close it up, or should I beware? I have attached a portion of the LONG page.

Yes, this is a crazy one. Guess this topic is going to have to go unanswered. At least today the crazy (bookmark88ÏË’#·”}úA—ÙÁ) didn't greet me when I started the Mac. Thanks for the attempts, they are appreciated.

You (or your system) somehow managed to open an alias as a text file. For now, close the window and ignore this problem.

Do you have something that launches Quicktime Player when you startup? Could the alias have gotten damaged?

YOU NAILED IT! I have NO idea how that Quciktime alias got assigned to my Login Items. My apologies for not responding earlier. Thank you SO much.
