Hey guys. Today, I brought my iPhone 4s to school, like I always do, and noticed that when I boarded the bus to leave, my phone was nearly drained. About 90 seconds later, it completely shut off. This was about 8 hours after receiving a full charge. My usage for the phone was minimal: about 20-30 minutes of music, 1 hour email fetching, and maybe a web page. I left it in my locker for the bulk of the day. I realize that the dual core cpu must require more battery life, but this is simply atrocious. Do I have a defective battery or is this simply the way the phone is?

Here's a good fix; I haven't had trouble since: http://bit.ly/sFsKZD

Battery life is also pounded my your cellular reception too. Weak signal = chitty battery.

I'm sure we would get what apple claims if we all lived in a perfect world.
