iPod touch Very quick ipod touch question

Does it have a Microphone? As in, can I use it on Skype? I know it records video, but it takes pictures too right?

Yes it has a microphone.

I was surprised that you don't need a microphone headset. You can use a cheap pair of headphones, and still talk through the speaker.

Yes, it has a microphone. However, if you plan to use the device with Skype, you'll be limited to voice and text chatting. Skype has yet to release an update to their iOS app that would allow for video chatting from iPhone 4 or the new iPod touch.

The 4th, and 3rd iPod Touch I believe, have microphones. The 2nd and 1st do not. And the only iPod Touch with a camera is the 4th gen. You can take pictures and record video through the Camera app.

3rd gen doesnt have mic. only 4th.
