I've noticed that Finder is sometimes VERY slow to list files on network volumes. I think it's because it's trying to load all the file previews, and that amounts to reading all of the files, which takes a considerable amount of time over the network. I always end up cd'ing into the folder in Terminal and just doing whatever I was going to do there.

Does this happen to anyone else?
