VEry small qest. abt blackberry pearl 8100

I am plannin to buy a blackberry pearl 8100 today... One small qestion.. I heard thats the mails and msg in that cannot be seen sepeately..

I mean if u go to msgs.. ull see both ur mails and msgs.. is it true

On my 8700c if I go to "messages" I see all e-mails and texts. But I can choose to view just one e-mail address which will only show emails received by that account.
