Hey all,

Having an interesting problem with a macbook 2.2 core 2 duo 13" running 10.5.8. Airport connections to all wireless routers began to give time out errors and were a bit flakey. Then all of a sudden the airport card stopped picking up networks at all. The system profiler shows that there is an airport card and i can turn airport on and off as if the card is functioning properly.

I've reset the pram and run a hardware test. The pram reset had no effect and the hardware test showed no hardware errors. I've also tried creating an alternate user to see if the prblem was user specific.

So, up to this point i'm thinking that the airport card needs replacement BUT i just discovered that i can create a network that other computers can connect to...so now i don't know. Ideas?
