Very strange finder issue

Hi,

I have recently noticed that in the finder window, under the devices list it shows the name of my computer is it used to, but after it there is the number 2 in brackets. Instead of saying 'Philip Joy's MacBook' it now says 'Philip Joy's MacBook (2)'.

Also, on the logon screen, just above where I put my password in it says Philip Joy's MacBook (2).

How can I change this? I know it's probably not even an issue but it just looks weird.
