Very strange iTunes movie adding problem

I'm currently using the OS X Lion with iTunes 10.5b3 on a MBP 15. For some reason, my HD movies aren't being added to iTunes.

I've tried the following:
- Adding them to a 10.6.7 Mac Mini with iTunes 10.3 works
- Adding TV shows encoded the same way (mkv to m4v) works.
- Adding other small videos to my Library works too
- Even moving a movie that won't add to my Mac Mini, then back to my MBP 15 through Home Sharing works.

For some reason, only my higher quality movies (720p movies) refuse to add directly to my iTunes on this particular Mac.

Any ideas?
