I seem to have uncovered an unusual Keynote problem and I'm hoping that other users have something similar.

I've been working on a large presentation with more than 200 slides, videos and photos. After working on the presentation for a few minutes, I pressed Play to view the progress, and suddenly my MacBook restarted. Black screen. Optical drive going. Chime. Everything.

I have no idea how it happened, and it has happened before. The strangest part I think is that the computer doesn't show any of the "Computer shut down improperly" information requests like when you hold the power button down. The computer seems to think it was proper.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any suggestions to fix it?

200 slides? The audience is going to see all black (the inside of their eyelids) anyway!

Just kidding. Sorry. I'm of no help here.

Ha!

Fortunately it's a musical performance, not the quarterly results, so I think I'm safe.
