Very strange thing with iMac. Hardware problem? Malware?

Hello.

Something extrange is happening with my iMac.

I turned it on. When it loaded the OS, the log in screen appeared. I have the automatic session start so, why the log in screen appears?

The thing was that the computer was slow, very very very slow, and the graphic animations like the effects when you minimize a screen, was very very laggy.

I restarted at it looks ok, but the log in didn't appear.

So, what do you think?

Check the Console for hints.

Also have a look in System Profiler to see if all the hardware is there...
