For some reason, Safari takes 40 seconds to a minute to launch with a spinning beach ball. I have not added any new plug-ins or extensions before this started happening. I do not have any other applications running. I checked Activity Monitor and do not see any other processes that would cause this to slow down. I also ran Onyx and repaired permissions and ran the daily, weekly, monthly maintenance scripts. All my other applications launch normally. Anyone have advise to fix this or had a similar issue?

Thanks

Have you tried emptying the Safari cache? Sometimes this can bog down startup times.
