Verzion to AT&T switch

I now have Verizon and have since last August. The new iPhone is rumored to come out around June, Do you think it would be hard switching from Verizon to AT&T on the release day? I don't mind paying the early termination fee for Verizon just as long as I get my iPhone.

Not hard at all. Buy the new iPhone, have them port your number. By doing this, it will automatically cancel your Verizon account. Verizon will then bill you for the ETF.

Hard in what sense?

Porting a number from Verizon to AT&T takes less than an hour (in store; not sure how long it takes for the actual process to complete) so long as you have the required information.

So it could easily be done on the day the iPhone comes out? I just don't wanna wait in line for hours just to find out I would have to do it another day.
