Thank you for your time. Whst kind og screws are used in VESA wall mounts? What thread size and length and where can you get these extra screws? I've tried Ace hardware but it's difference.
VESA mounts normally use metric screws, size M4 (0.7mm pitch). The length is typically 10mm, but would depend on the bracket (if you don't have a gauge handy, just put a small stick of some sort in there and mark it off with a felt pen, then measure).
Washers are a really good idea, especially if you decide on thumbscrews with plastic heads.
For hardware that is hard to find locally, McMaster-Carr will have it.
Thank you very much. I can't find any VESA wall mount in the philippines. I might doa homeade one. I was looking for what type of screw they use for VESA. It's a big help, will look for it, that's the other challenge now. not that many electronic shop here. Can you find this is hobby shops like R/C shops or something? Radioshack maybe?
Btw, which appliance M4 screw used for most often, maybe I could substitute and see if there are screws that some old parts, old appliances we have here if they are not available anywhere in the country.
