I have the 3650 and I'm trying to figure out how I would use this software. OK, maybe Keynote for me would be useful but what about the "many other applications" it says it can control. Anybody with examples other than iTunes and DVD player?

You can control any app really. I use it with Quicktime a lot as well as VLC.

I also use it to connect automatically to my Address Book when I come within rang of my PowerBook. You can write your own or download them from the plugins page at:

Hopefully, there will be more there soon as people write new ones.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I was playing with the free version of Veta and I found that, whereas it is supposed to quit out and tell me to register, it sometimes locks up my 3650 after an extended number of actions (like forwarding through a playlist song by song and then going back).

Is this a bug with the "register me" feature, or has anyone had experience of this software locking up the phone?

Also one thing that I didn't like is that the auto-reconnect feature is automatically also auto-connect. So even if I don't initiate using the software, if it is running it will keep pinging my phone via BT if it is in range... :(

It should just bug you after a few (10) clicks but I've not had it lock up the phone.

Just turn it off in the Romeo Options page. Check out the forums at www.irowan.com for more info if you need.
