Veterans or Active Duty Verizon Discount

I've been with Verizon many years and just found out yesterday that as a veteran I am qualified to receive a 15% discount on data portion of my monthly bill. I think this was implemented in 2008, not positive of exact date.

Just wanted to inform anyone who may be eligable.

That's pretty neat. Considering soldier's don't get paid that much, it's nice to see companies giving discounts to them and veterans.

also if you are a state employee or a dependent of a state employee you can receive a 15% discount.

yea there are TONS of discounts offered for different companies and govt agencies. i was able to locate a list where they listed it by company/agency in alphabetical order and said how much their discount was.
