Vevo + Airplay not working

Airplay video from iPad 2 to AppleTV works fine w/ YouTube so I know my set up works. But when I select AppleTV from the Vevo HD app it gets a check by it but still plays on the iPad 2 not AppleTV.

Anyone else have this issue? Is Airplay non-functional on the Vevo HD app even though it's there?

It has been hit or miss for me. Will work well for several videos and then it stops. The AirPlay button ( on mine anyway) says beta so maybe when they roll out the final version it will be better.
